Lima (Peru).- We shared the presentation "Socio-economic impact on rural distributed electrification projects", on November 5th within the event that was held by Osinergmin, the energy regulatory body of Peru.
This first edition of the forum, which was developed from 4th to 6th November 2015 in Lima, addressed the current situation and the expectations for the sustainable and global energy, the renewable energy, the impact of the universal access and the energy poverty, as well as the development of the hydrocarbon industry.
With this aim, Osinergmin called experts from different fields who discussed, during three days, their experiences grouped into different thematic groups:

II: ENERGY SECURITY AND INTERNATIONAL MARKETS
III: EXPERIENCES ON RENEWABLE ENERGY
IV: OPPORTUNITIES FOR RENEWABLE ENERGY DEVELOPMENT
V: IMPACT OF THE UNIVERSAL ACCESS AND ENERGY POVERTY
VI: DEVELOPMENT OF THE HYDROCARBON INDUSTRY
Julio Eisman, director of the ACCIONA Microenergia foundation, participated on Thursday 5th, at 15:15 (UTC-5), within the subject "Opportunities for renewable energy development". He presented, under the title "Socio-economic impact on rural distributed electrification projects", the experience of Luz en Casa, in Cajamarca (Peru) and Oaxaca (Mexico), as well as the impacts on the users that are derived from the rural electrification provided with these programmes.
